Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Wholly Kosher Travel by Ophir Tours ("We," "Us," "Our"). By using Our website and services and when you book with Us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Booking Process

Booking Requests

Our website allows you to submit a booking request for Our tours, holidays, and programs. These requests are not final bookings. Once you submit a request, Our team will contact you by telephone or email to continue the booking process and to provide a full booking form as well as pricing. Pricing shown on the website is indicative and not final. 

Confirmation

Your booking is only confirmed once you receive an official confirmation from Us and payment has been made as per the instructions provided in the booking form. 

Payments

Unless stated otherwise on Our booking form, your booking is with Ophir Tours Ltd ("Ophir Tours") and payments are to be made to Ophir Tours, who will issue all relevant receipts and invoices. Full payment terms are provided in Our booking forms.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation by You

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify Us as soon as possible. Cancellation policies differ depending on the tour, holiday, or program booked. The payment and cancellation policy related to your booking including fees and refunds are noted in Our booking forms.

If you purchased travel with Us from within Israel, conditions of cancellation will be as stipulated in the Israeli Consumer Protection Law.

Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to cancel or change a tour due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative or a refund in line with the circumstances and the rules and conditions imposed by third party providers that are involved in providing part or all of the tour / holiday / program components.

Our tours, holidays, and programs require a minimum number of reservations (guests / rooms) to operate, as determined by Us based on the nature of the tour, holiday, or program and operational requirements. We reserve the right to cancel a tour, holiday, or program for any reason related to the failure to meet the required number of reservations, up to 60 days prior to the scheduled start date of the tour, holiday, or program.

In the event of cancellation by Us for the above-mentioned reason, all payments made by you to Us will be fully refunded, in the same currency and at the same exchange rate as paid, as specified in your invoice. For the avoidance of doubt, We shall not be obligated to provide any additional compensation to you due to the cancellation of the tour, holiday, or program for this reason.
In some cases, We may offer to you an alternative tour, holiday, or program in leu of the  cancelled one and if you choose to accept the alternative, any funds paid by you for the original cancelled tour, holiday, or program shall be applied to the alternative one, but you shall not be obligated to accept the alternative offering. 

Insurance

We recommend taking out travel insurance as soon as you have confirmed your booking with us as in some circumstances we will be unable to provide a refund for cancellations that would normally be covered by travel insurance including, but not limited to, cancellation due to illness or accident.

3. Responsibilities and Liability

Information Provided

We are responsible to provide accurate information about our tours, holidays, activities, and services in our booking forms. We aim for information on the website about our tours and holidays to be as accurate as possible but sometimes the details of our tours and holidays may differ from the information on our website. Images displayed on the website and in our brochures and booking forms are for illustrative and indicative purposes only.

Contractual Matters

Unless stated otherwise on our booking form, your contract is with Ophir Tours and all financial transactions will be processed by Ophir Tours. 

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during our tours and holidays, except where caused by our negligence.

4. Personal Information

By submitting a booking request or signing up for our mailing list, you agree that we and our partners and providers involved in providing services as part of our tours and holidays may store and process your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Third-Party Providers and Services

We work with third-party service providers (e.g., hotels, transportation companies). We are not directly responsible for their services, but we will assist in resolving any issues you may encounter with them.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. For changes that effect an existing booking you have made and that has not yet been completed, we will notify you of these changes by email.
